Spring Break

It's been a fun couple weeks. Ro had Spring Break a couple weeks ago. I thought B and his mom were fighting because she usually offers to watch Ro during Spring Break. She didn't this time. I had a few site visits and trainings to go to. When I told B I was considering asking his mom, he asked which days I needed and took them off instead. It turned out he had some time to burn and wanted to spend time with Ro.  B and Ro went to Bakersfield for a rally one day when I had a site visit in west Kings County and the border of Kern County. Then we hung out at home doing nothing on the second day when I was at a training in San Jose. While in San Jose, I had a chance to catch up with Nick and Ariel and then had dinner with Emmy and Brian. Emmy had bought popcorn from Ro for his annual school fundraiser, but I completely forgot to take it during this visit. I may try to find time or schedule another visit back to the bay to get it to her. She said she otherwise might not make it back ...

Catching up/Ev Wedding

B's grandpa gave Ro a "disguise" set that is wonderful. It's been a while. The main reason why is because I just haven't wanted to sit in front of a screen. Or I just want to play a cell phone game if I do. Maybe I'll just make it a more common practice to do on Sundays at the library after knitting group.  New set of animals, in case I haven't sent this yet It's a lot easier to get my thoughts down with a full keyboard. My little Surface keyboard just doesn't have the same feel. B and I were talking about upgrading my desktop to connect back to the internet. Otherwise, Ro doesn't have a change to practice typing at home. B's uncle (dad's brother) bought Ro a refurbished iPad for Christmas. We bought a cheap bluetooth keyboard to go with it, but Ro noticed it lags, which makes playing the fast typing games online frustrating. Current goals: > Stop biting nails. > Stop looking at social media/new so much. Stare at walls instead. ...
